Second Island wants their residents to have fun and enjoy their Second Life! So, anything we can do to make our resident’s lives a little bit easier, we try to do. So, we have a few tips for you!
Stay Informed
Second Island offers its residents many tools to stay on top of what is going on with Second Island. We offer an in-world group called Second Island Residents. We strongly encourage you to become a member of this group if you are not already. Just contact a member of the Second Island Staff to join up! This group sends out notices about all changes, events and happenings going on with Second Island. Also, Second Island has an official blog located at: http://blog.secondisland.com which is chock full of information about things going on at Second Island.
Know your Neighbors
Second Island believes a sense of community and pride amongst its residents is very important. So the next time you see your neighbor gardening or building something new, stop by and say hello! Second Island is working very hard to provide more community focused events and benefits for its residents, so keep your eyes peeled! In the meantime, get to know your neighbors in-world or maybe try Second Island’s forum at: http://forums.secondisland.com/
Know the Staff
A list of current Second Island staff is available on this website. A good idea is to add us to your friends list for easy look up or ask us for a calling card. This way, when you are in need of assistance, you can quickly find someone who is available to help you. You can find the complete staff listing by clicking here.
Get involved
Is there something you would like to see at Second Island? Do you have a suggestion that you think would improve the quality of service or product that we offer to the residents? Then let us know! We are always open and excited to hear new ideas from ESPECIALLY our residents on what they want, so drop us a line through the support page or in-world and we will be happy to take time to hear you out.
Be well-versed in Second Island’s Covenant
Make sure you read this very important piece of information before you purchase a land parcel, and make sure you read it periodically as changes are made to the covenant on occasion. You are responsible for knowing the rules of the estate. The covenant is strictly enforced, and you not knowing the rules is not an excuse for not following them. As good ol’ Kaio says, “There are rules in your real life, so of course there should be in your second one!” But please note, these rules are for the comfort, security and protection of Second Island residents, and none of them are what we would call “unreasonable.”
